There are many names for drawing in meetings. Graphic recording, visual recording, graphic facilitating, visual scribe, doodling, wall illustration, visual notes, graphic visualization, live drawing or as Frida Panoussis also calls it - meeting drawing. So many words and variations for something that should be simple and clear.

If you attended the Nordic Sustainability Expo 2022, you probably saw Frida Panoussis and Helena Ljungros on site drawing live during each lecture. Frida and Helena illustrated with the help of text, images and symbols everything that was said on the stages and the material grew as the fair progressed.

Many visitors stopped and took pictures and as the drawings both summarized what was said on the stages, it was a fun feature to look at and made a perfect summation if you didn't have time to listen to a lecture on site.

Meeting drawing is thus about drawing when someone is speaking. Meeting planners visualize and summarize what happens during meetings, lectures or an event. And Frida and Helena are two of the few, with this unique competence: to simultaneously listen and draw to give an extra dimension with the help of memory images.
